FIMFF Lab

FIMFFs first Lab

Hvørt ár stremba vit eftir at víðka okkara festival og at finna ymsar mátar at geva til okkara samfelag. Tí hava vit gjørt av at byrja FIMFF Lab í ár. Royndarstovan verður ein stevna fyri filmsskaparar av øllum slag, sum búgva í Føroyum. Vónandi ber tað til at bjóða filmsskaparar úr øllum teimum norðurlendsku londunum við komandi árini. Vit stremba eftir at bjóða fyrilestrarhaldarum, sum hava starvast á stórum filmsverkætlanum kring heimin, ið kunnu vegleiða og geva íblástur til eitt nýtt ættarlið av filmsskaparum.

Every year we strive to find ways to make our festival grow and to find different ways to give to our community. Therefore we have decided to launch FIMFF Lab for this year’s festival. The lab will be a meeting point for filmmakers in all their forms that are living in the Faroe Islands and hopefully in the next few years we are able to open it up for filmmakers in all the Scandinavian countries. We strive to invite lecturers who have worked on major film projects around the world who can guide and inspire a new generation of filmmakers.
